Bharti Airtel join hands with Amazon to offer Free Prime Subscription to postpaid, broadband customers

Bharti Airtel and Amazon India had joined hands to offer Amazon Prime subscription in exclusive deals.

New and existing Airtel postpaid clients with an Infinity tariff plan of ₹499 or above will get a one-year Amazon Prime participation worth ₹999, which incorporates boundless access to Amazon Prime Video, as a feature of their tariff plan benefits (at no extra cost), Airtel said in an announcement.

The offer for one year of Amazon Prime is enacted only through the Airtel TV application. Access to Prime Video is accessible in the wake of downloading the Prime Video application on compatible and supported devices.

Airtel V-Fiber Broadband clients are additionally qualified for Amazon Prime subscription memebership benefits. They have to download the Airtel TV application on their registered mobile number and follow the steps described above, the company added.

“With Airtel TV, we are venturing up the incentive and offering a total advanced excitement experience to our postpaid customers and home broadband clients. By making Prime Video accessible to our clients for a year at no extra cost, Airtel TV is currently ready to offer one of the biggest and most energizing entertainment experiences,” said Sameer Batra, Chief Executive Officer, Airtel Wynk.

“This move empowers consistent access to Amazon Prime for Airtel postpaid clients, giving them an opportunity to explore a new world of new video-streaming content and more and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. We figure our valuable and loyal customers will love the many advantages of Prime,” said Akshay Sahi, Director and Head of Amazon Prime India.
